Terms of sale

Who we are (ECT Act 25 of 2002)
Nexum Telecom (Pty) Ltd trades from Cape Town, South Africa, on nexumtelecom.co.za. Support support@nexumtelecom.co.za. Accounts accounts@nexumtelecom.co.za. We sell connectivity, voice, IT, automations, and hardware. Prices are in South African Rand, exclusive of VAT at 15% unless a line says otherwise. VAT is added at checkout. A tax invoice is issued once stock is confirmed.
We currently terminate a lot of connectivity through Vox as a business partner, and park a lot of backup and hosting with IronTree — chosen, not a lock-in. The contract for this site is with Nexum Telecom (Pty) Ltd.
Orders and accounts
You may fill the cart and the checkout form without signing in. To launch an order you must sign in or create an account (email and password, Google, or X). That is how we keep spam and troll orders off the accounts desk, and how we attach an invoice, receipt, and ticket to a person we can reach.
An order is a request, not a confirmed sale. We accept it when accounts confirm stock with the supplier and send payment or collection details. Some lines leave the same day; others take two to three working days, some five. Until stock is confirmed we may decline, substitute with your written OK, or cancel if the line or the box is not actually available. Dispatch starts once stock is confirmed and payment is in.
Payment, delivery, returns (CPA 68 of 2008 & ECT Act)
Payment: EFT, cash on Cape Town collection, PayPal, Wise, Bitcoin, or finance up to 60 months on qualifying hardware (0% escalation, 5% escalation, or rent-to-own, subject to approval). Bitcoin is taken at the rate printed on the invoice.
Collection in Cape Town is free, by appointment, once the goods are ready. Courier in metro is as shown at checkout; beyond metro is quoted. We currently book The Courier Guy unless the job needs another carrier. Typical courier time is three to five working days after we hand the parcel over, depending on the carrier and the address. Waybill and tracking details are emailed; you follow the parcel on that courier’s own tracker. Risk passes on collection or when the courier scans the parcel.
Consumers: for goods bought only online, the ECT Act cooling-off period (seven days from receipt) applies where the Act says it does — not to sealed software once opened, not to goods made to your spec, not to services once we have started the last-mile or install with your go-ahead, and not to finance already booked. Hardware returns need original packaging and a ticket. Defective goods are repaired, replaced, or refunded under the Consumer Protection Act. Connectivity early-termination is as on the service schedule we send you.
Services and fair use
Fibre, LTE, 5G, SIP and hosted voice depend on the last mile and the radio. Coverage checks on this site are a feasibility indication, not a guarantee of a particular network. We will still find a path — fibre, wireless, or satellite — but the product and the price follow the address.
Uncapped and pooled products are subject to the fair-use policy on the confirmation. Abuse, fraud, or unpaid invoices may be suspended after notice.
Questions: support@nexumtelecom.co.za. This is how we run the site — not a substitute for advice on your own matter.
